Hey, Friends! I’ll make this quick because I’m sure that you have plenty of things to do besides read an introductory blog post.
Here are a few facts about me:
- I’m a 35 year old that is still trying to figure out how to do life. If you have figured it out, please tell me how it goes!
- I obsess over anything sweet and prefer dessert as my main course.
- I am a lover of knowledge and random facts. You would want me on your trivia team.
- I am a self-taught baker with intermediate to advanced knowledge on most things. Everything else is available on Youtube University.
- I bake because I love it.
- I speak fluent sarcasm and wit and prefer to write how I speak. Buckle up.
- I laugh at my own jokes. I’m pretty funny.
- I am wanderer in spirit and will not turn down a good adventure.
- I have a goal to try every bakery in the world. I’m about 100 in.
- I taught in the public school system for a decade and found out that I loved helping build the capacity of adults!
- This blog hasn’t made me rich yet, so I’m a consultant for a Fortune 500 company. I travel for work.
- I don’t know anything about writing a blog , but here we are.
- I think that’s all you need to know to get us started.
I’m what you would call a traveling food historian and baker. Basically, I travel the world sampling the desserts that I love, create my version of said dessert, and share the intriguing history that the dessert has!
Anything else is extra.
